21st Century Renewal

Saint-Lambert

The goal for this charming 1970’s home was to design an entrance with substance and character. Its owners wished for a welcoming, easily maintained façade.

The sloping lawn was removed and replaced by a mix of low-maintenance, drought-resistant plants such as lavender, coneflowers and ornamental grasses. Natural stone stairs leading down to the walkway create a relaxed, open feeling reminiscent of a country garden.

Like a beautiful painting, the plantings in gentle tones blend together artfully with the natural materials. The landscaped elements tie in perfectly with the house’s colours and textures.

This project was awarded 3rd Prize in the category Métamorphose réussie of the 36th Landscaping Competition of the APPQ
